Runners Kent and Shiobbean Lemme opened Berkshire Running Center in 2011 as the areas first and only run specialty store and training center. Originally located in the center of the beautiful Berkshires in Pittsfield, MA before moving to their new location in the Allendale Shopping Center in May 2022. The Lemme’s have over fifty combined years of running experience between them, with Kent being a Nationally ranked gold medal athlete in the sport. A team of trainers that are also runners and athletes themselves , all whom provide a combined experience unmatched in the area. The staff trains with the clients and works alongside each person to ensure they reach their best possible performance.
Berkshire Running Center is also a Race Timing and Race Directing company; hosting over 25 races a year while timing more than 100 events from local races to the High School Cross Country seasons to the Steel Rail Half Marathon, the largest running event in the Berkshires.
