MountainOne Steel Rail Half Marathon Training
Whether this is your first half marathon or your hundreth; there is no better way to train than with professionals who instruct you individually on what is best for you.
The sense of accountability of having a group to meet each week is priceless. The community that is built over the 10 weeks with a collective common goal, is only another added bonus.
Join race founders and directors Kent and Shiobbean Lemme for this 10 week program to get you ready for the10th running of the Steel Rail Races.
Meet Sunday mornings at 7AM at BRC
We will send out weekly videos discussing various topics from planning your training, running form, principles of training, hydration and nutrition, etc. We invite you to send us your questions and updates and along the duration of the program and we will respond to you individually for any needs and concerns.
This is followed by a group long run on Saturday, we will have a rotating schedule of different locations for the runs, all within a 15 minute drive from BRC. These will be sent out in advance. These runs are designed for all participants, all pace and abilities welcomed.
MountainOne Steel Rail Training Shirt and water bottle is included for group participants.
Prerequisite suggested is that participants are able to run 60 minutes OR 5 miles miles and have approval of their physician to begin the marathon training program if you have any medical conditions or concerns.
